Radiology

A Deeper Look Bones and Organs

Diagnostic imaging is an important tool that helps veterinarians evaluate your pet’s health safely and non-invasively. One of the most commonly used imaging methods is X-ray (radiography), which allows us to visualize bones as well as many internal structures and organs. This technology helps our veterinary team gain valuable information that may not be visible during a physical examination alone.

X-rays are often used when your veterinarian is concerned about bone fractures, swallowed foreign objects, heart or lung conditions, arthritis, hip problems, or other orthopedic issues.

At Simi Valley Animal Hospital, X-rays are an important part of our diagnostic process and help guide us in developing the most effective treatment plan for your pet. By combining imaging results with a physical exam and other diagnostic tests, we can better understand what is affecting your pet and provide appropriate care to help them feel their best.
