Exotic Animals

Our love for animals does not end with cats and dogs. At Simi Valley Animal Hospital, we are excited to care for a wide variety of pets, including reptiles, birds, and small “pocket pets” such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and other small mammals. These unique companions have special needs, and our team is happy to help provide the care and attention they deserve.

Whether your pet needs a routine wellness exam, nutritional guidance, habitat and husbandry advice, or care for a specific health concern, we are here to help keep them healthy and comfortable. Regular checkups are especially important for exotic pets, as early signs of illness can sometimes be subtle.

While we are happy to see most exotic animals, we unfortunately cannot treat venomous snakes or primates. However, we welcome many other species and look forward to helping you care for your special companion. If you have questions about whether we can see your pet, please feel free to contact us — we are always happy to help.
