Danielle Killingsworth
Client Service Representative
Danielle Killingsworth is a native Californian and has lived in Simi Valley since the age of 11 days. She has worked at Simi Valley Animal Hospital and has served animals with love there for 16 years. She is a master puzzle worker and baker in her spare time and she loves being with her family. Danielle has a special place in her heart for bull terriers.
Isaac Ross
Veterinary Technician
Isaac Ross has been working as a veterinary technician for five years and is known by many as the “cat whisperer” for his ability to calm and handle cats in a low-stress, compassionate way. His gentle approach reflects the clinic’s commitment to reducing fear and anxiety whenever possible during veterinary visits.
Although Isaac has a special talent for working with cats, he enjoys caring for all animals and brings a thoughtful, attentive presence to every patient interaction. His experience and calm handling help pets feel more comfortable and supported during their time at the hospital.
When he is not at work, Isaac enjoys hiking and snowboarding. He looks forward to helping pets and their families feel well cared for every step of the way.
Julia Bowen
Assistant Veterinary Technician
Julia Bowen brings a lifelong love of animals and hands-on experience to her role as an Assistant Veterinary Technician. Growing up, she cared for not only dogs and cats, but also birds, reptiles, and guinea pigs, giving her a broad appreciation for the many different animals families may call their own.
Before joining the hospital, Julia worked for three years at a doggy daycare and spent two years as a kennel attendant. Her background reflects a long-standing dedication to animal care and a genuine enthusiasm for helping pets feel safe and supported.
At home, Julia shares her life with three pets: Milo, a 13-year-old Maine Coon mix; Stitch, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever; and Voodoo, a 4-year-old domestic shorthair. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her pets and fiancé or relaxing with a good book.
Dr. Nathanel (Nathan) Peleg
BSc BVetMed, MRCVS
Dr. Nathan Peleg is proud to lead Simi Valley Animal Hospital into an exciting new chapter. He graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2023 and has worked in a busy hospital setting managing a wide range of cases, from routine care and preventive medicine to surgery and emergency cases.
Dr. Nathan is passionate about providing high-quality, up-to-date veterinary care and believes strongly in pain-free, fear-free practices. He values working closely with both patients and their people to develop the best plan for each individual case. He also believes that veterinary medicine is not only about treatment, but also about education, communication, and building trust with pet owners.
Having recently moved to the United States to begin a new chapter in his career, Dr. Nathan is joined by his wife, Dr. Maria, their corgi, Otis, and their three guinea pigs, Gladys, Enid, and Celeste. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys good music, good food, and the theatre.
